Some time ago, I was interested in development of PnP compatible serial port based device and corresponding WDM driver . Search on the Internet did not bring a lot of useful information. So, some research has been done and now I think it could be interesting for other developers. I publish auxilary WDM driver, developed with MS VC++ 6.0 and believe it should make your life easier.
